Richard L. Shafer, 84, passed away at 1:15 p.m. in Ball Memorial Hospital on April 28, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Ethyle; 5 sons, Richard, Jeffrey, Michael, Christopher, and Timothy; and his sister, Bessie McReynolds. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 14 at Glad Tidings Church.
